NORTH HARRIS COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE ASSOCIATION

At the January meeting we were pleased and honored to have Mr. Chris Heisler, President & CEO Founder, The Honor Network | The United States Honor Flag.  Please take the time to look at his web site, http://ushonorflag.homestead.com/ABOUT-US.html.

The Association was our sponsor for January and as always, Italiano’s provided a great breakfast. The average cost for a single sponsor has greatly been reduced due to the money collected by members.  We are looking for sponsors.  So if any of you, or, if you know of anyone that would like to be our sponsor for the upcoming months, please have them contact Betty or Virginia.

Our guest speaker for February has unfortunately had to cancel due to a conflict in scheduling.  At this time I am seeking a fill in and hope to acquire a speaker before our scheduled meeting, Tuesday February 2, 2010.

As a reminder, the Humble Police Association is having a crawfish festival, April 23rd at the Humble Civic Arena.  Get your tickets from the Humble Police Department $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Humble Rodeo cook-off is February 5-6th at the Humble Civic Arena. Come out for a good time and great food.

If you have anything that you would like to announce through this newsletter please have your information to me at least a week prior to the NHCCJA meetings.

We have some interesting speakers scheduled for 2010 and always appreciate the input of our members.

The North Harris County Criminal Justice Association (NHCCJA) is an organization that includes law enforcement officers from city, county, state and federal agencies. There are also numerous elected officials from many levels of government, along with business and community involved citizens that add to our membership. $15.00 dues are collected annually.

The Association meets the first Tuesday of each month at Italiano's, 217 FM 1960, East Bypass, in Humble, Texas at 7:00am. Meetings last one hour, and a breakfast buffet is available during the meeting. Each month a guest speaker presents a brief, informative program of interest to those involved in the Criminal Justice System.

Beginning at the April breakfast meeting, all who attended were charged $5.00 at the door. Please bring a $5.00 bill or a check made out to NHCCJA.

You and the members of your law enforcement organization are invited to attend the next meeting. You will be introduced to the members, and you will probably see many familiar faces.
